Registration
The 97th National Convention in Binghamton NY began with a visit to the Registration Table on the Garden Level of the Binghamton Regency Hotel & Conference Center. Here Al & Barbara Kaminsky welcome Al & Vivian Rogers.

At the Hotel
The meeting place was the Hotel's Lounge near the Main Entrance. On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Council 3 members (Irene Ozalis, Irene & Walter Svekla, Msgr. Joe Anderlonis and Lillian Greymus) got together.

The Miller's
The Pre-Convention Bus Trip was attended by more than half of the Conventioneers. This location is the main lobby of the Corning Museum of Glass. This is the Chair of the 2010 Convention, Tom Miller, and his wife, Barbara, who is the President of Host Council 72.

At the Winery
Kyle, Andrew, Erin, Rob, Aldona & Fran were choosing which wines to taste at Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars. After visiting 3 Seneca Lake Wineries, our tour bus headed back to Binghamton. The Pre-Convention Bus Trip was a success thanks to plans made by Grace Mankus of Host Council 72.

On the Lake
The Pre-Convention Trip included lunch at Seneca Harbor Station, Watkins Glen NY. Regina Juska-Svoba, Council 82 Gary IN, enjoys the view of Seneca Lake from the dock.

Luncheon
The Knights of Lithuania is a family oriented organization. Here are 3 generations of beautiful Chicago women - Georgi Macke, Liza Macke and Ann Marie Kassel HM - gathered on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, for lunch after the Opening Mass.

Our Junior Knights
The young adult members and "Juniors" (ages 6-16) pose for a photo before going to their first 'meeting' where they painted T-shirts and learned a Lithuanian song from Maryte Bizinkauskas. Then they had time to go to the hotel's swimming pool. They wore the shirts to the Ithaca Sciencenter on Friday and sang the song at Saturday's Plenary Session.

Maryte Sepikas, C-133 Los Angeles CA, and Diane & Sue Svehla, C-112 Chicago IL, keep in touch since both their councils are part of the Mid-America District.

Lee Moore HM, and her husband, Paul, sit with Lee's brother, Frank Petrauskas HM, with Frank's wife, Irene, standing nearby. They are happy to be together since Binghamton is about halfway between their homes in Pennsylvania and Upstate New York.
